Hello Roz, your lovely daughter Lynn, who I now know, from your picture, looks incredibly like her mother, works with my daughter Chloe. I am looking into setting up a blog, to try to generate work etc etc as I am a hermit luddite in too many ways – and they told me to look at yours, and to contact you. We seem to have a lot of similar interests/passions. And I lived in Co. Cork for a while, I rented a cottage outside Schull, then fell into one of my ill-starred love affairs and lingered longer, in Courtmacsherry, and back and forth to and from London.

We had a wonderful trip in the Dingle peninsula, with friends who have a house there, followed by one in Yeats’ country and along the Donegal coastline and then down to Belfast. On our way down to Cork we had the opportunity to meet with the Dean of Armagh (Church of Irteland) and see in their library an original copy of Gulliver’s Travels, with manuscript notes by Jonathan Swift himself.

I inherited some years ago a full crate of Recolte 1953 Chateau de Fieuzal No 146 wine and wondered if the vineyard would be interested in buying them for prosperity or to share.
I am currently in Australia and go between the UK and France. The wine is in the UK in a controlled cooler.
Any thoughts who I should speak with?

Apologies, I just saw this, months after your sending it. If you haven’t already done, so I suggest contacting the winemaker Stephen Carrier at the vineyard which you can access on line. Lucky you, with that wine. If you have any individual bottles I would be interested in buying one or two. Let me know if you have any problems with communication.
