Riedel glasses compared in wine tasting

A comparative tasting of wines in Riedel glasses will take place on Monday 9th September 2013 in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel, St Stephen’s Green with Georg J. Riedel, courtesy of Mitchell & Son.

Georg Riedel is the 10th generation of the Riedel glass-making dynasty, and will guide tasters in a unique wine tasting experience. It will be an exciting evening of fine wine and an opportunity to understand the important relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wine. It’s always interesting to appreciate the finer points.

 

Venue: The Great Room, Shelbourne Hotel, St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
Date: Monday 9th September 2013
Time: Doors open at 6.00 pm, tasting at 7.00 pm.

Individual Ticket: €90
Pair of Tickets: €170
Group Ticket for 6 People: €480

Each participant will receive a tasting set of Riedel Vinum XL glassware worth €90 that is theirs to keep.
