Filter café in Cork a treat for those who know their coffee
Two days in a row for good coffee was wo
rth the crossing of Parliament bridge from the South Mall in Cork. Eoin MCarthy has it just right with excellent coffee from roasters Golden Bean and Badger and Dodo. Sit there long enough and he will give you sample espressos of interesting blends. Sit there for longer and you will want good pastries and treats from Diva bakery in Ballinspittle and salads and other savouries from Rocket Man. Coffee sacks on the walls blend with cool greys for a restful ambience, great music and a host interested in his work makes it my current favorite for a pick-me-up.
