Last taste of summer in Paris

Lunch in Paris of a chunky, simple and tasty pork chop with vegetables, a glass of rosé and this amazing strawberry tart.Image

The outdoor cafe Tokyo Eats, is part of the Palais de Tokyo art gallery on Avenue President Wilson on the left bank. It’s a spot where artists gather to philosophise and make elaborate plans (there was a lot of gesticulating from a woman with blue hair) and those who like to be in the latest, boho chic at its earliest. I was there last year for a carrot juice IMG_0630before the main courses got going properly, and it has since managed to get the food right, with energetic, friendly staff who move at the speed of light.  Next door the Museum of Contemporary Arts is a treat with inspiring choices well hung/displayed. Admission is free too. More later.
