Wine of the Week 3 Malbec Collio IGT Venegazzu

I love a wine to surprise me. Our expectations of  Malbec have been formed by Argentina, but recently at a tasting by Joe Karwig this one from the Veneto region of Italy was the exciting red of the evening. And reasonably priced too at about €18.

Floral, fruity, interesting, and much more subtle than an Argentinian Malbec, it was…surprising. I won’t waffle on. I suggest you try it for yourself.
