Congrats to nineteen year old Jack O’Keeffe, a second year student of the Bachelor of Business in Culinary Arts Degree in the Department of Tourism & Hospitality at Cork Institute of Technology. Winner of the Knorr Young Chef of the Year title he and his mentor, Chef John Hartnett, were given a master class in Catalan cookery in Barcelona and dined at El Cellar de Can Roca in Girona,
I love to hear about competitions which encourage trainees to accept challenges. Good for CIT for getting involved in the competition. The facilities there are terrific.
