Idaho Gelato opened today

Wonderful to see a new business opening in Cork. This one is a sister to Idaho café, and is located a door down from it in a space we hardly knew was there. Mairead and Richard have created another source of treats, this time whipped ice-cream with unique toppings. There are also waffles, floats and avalanches. Breakfast of a sausage bap and coffee in Idaho today was followed by a first sample of the creamy ice-cream, topped first with maple flavoured bacon, then a juicy amaretto cherry. Hardly needed lunch…
